FWIW, and you may not like it, but... After 25 yrs hanging, the best thing for that Hangar Queen is to get dusted off and hung back up. The Pitts' has to be flown from the time you start it up and really isn't a good way to get back into flying. Let her oversee all the new projects that take to the air as you get back into a great hobby. You're going to love all the new advances and technology that are available to you. If you want to build , if you want to buy and fly or anywhere inbetween there are great choices. Good luck, have fun no matter what you choose, let us know, Doc
Yeah, Doc I know. I'm certainly not going to use the Pitts as a trainer!LOL I've already built another easier to fly plane to hone my skills with. 25 years of rust and a Pitts isn't a good combination!!LOL.. I wonder how long it will take me? They say it might be like riding a bycle or having sex! But maybe that's why this ole man has fallen off a few times lately!LOL!! I have been doing a lot of Oval racing the past few years so my reflexes have been somewhat oiled! At least on the throttle and left/right thing....
