After about a 25 year hiatus, I decided to take wings again. I have a House of Balsa Pitts S2A that has been hanging from the shop ceiling never flown. The kit was discontinued a long time ago and the plans are missing. This was a .40 sized Bipe and was a really nice kit when I built it( F/G Cowl and Pants.) Well after 25 years I can't remember where the C/G is supposed to be LOL!! If anyone had one or have plans please help me "remember" where to balance it!!LOL It ain't ahlezhemiers (I don't think) LOL it's just been 25 years!!!

FWIW, and you may not like it, but... After 25 yrs hanging, the best thing for that Hangar Queen is to get dusted off and hung back up. The Pitts' has to be flown from the time you start it up and really isn't a good way to get back into flying. Let her oversee all the new projects that take to the air as you get back into a great hobby. You're going to love all the new advances and technology that are available to you. If you want to build , if you want to buy and fly or anywhere inbetween there are great choices. Good luck, have fun no matter what you choose, let us know, Doc

Some of the HOB kits were from designs by Fred Reese (and others) originally published in RCM, etc.
If you ask in the Vintage forum you will be able to find out who designed it, and chances are it was published before it was kitted. It could even be this one:
