If you can fly the CX without any trouble you should be able to fly the CP+ with no problems after just a couple battery packs. It is much more fun to fly than a CX, and a little harder on the nerves.
i am quite comfortable with my cx's, and i can even use the fixed pitch to blow leaves off the sidewalks now, but i still have trouble with the cp+ after a whole heck of a lot of battery packs - i wish i had your thumbs/reflexes/age/whatever lol !!!
