Each one is self contained in one box for everything. When you are done, stand it up in a corner of the closet.
If you break it, spare parts are reasonable at most hobby shops.
My son-in-law broke a wing. Instead of repairing the wing, he just bought a new one at the hobby shop.
With two batteries for each plane and two chargers, he can fly continuously until he is blue in the face.
The draw back to a small light weight plane like this is that you cannot have any wind. This is explained in the instructions. He flies very early in the morning or very late in the afternoon.
