RE: DL-50 engine
Well, I would get a 28% scale, for example Wildhare extra or edge, for DL-50. The price difference is minimal comparing with the Cemark Edge.
23.6 oz/sq. foot is moderate. I have to admit, but stick to my opinion that the plane will be on th heavy side after beefup (even it is doable). Normally a 40 cc airplane is not built/designed for 50cc engines. Some other factors to consider: a longer landing gear for prop clearance, whether the cowl will clear the engine, using MG servos etc. All these add weight.
Flight trim is another concern.
There are stronger and ligher 40cc gassers on market. But that is another choice.
