If you stick to Hobbyzone and Parkzone you probably can't go wrong. I started out with electrics and bought all of the wrong ones without knowing. These are both very good for beginners and, unlike many other brands, actually fly!!! Just be aware that VERY little movement on the sticks makes BIG changes to the plane. That's how most folks starting out crash. Basically, if you can see your thumbs moving on the sticks, you're over-controlling the plane. Enjoy!!
