Are you using a 2cell/7 cell NiCD or NiMH battery? And are you using the recommended prop range, 5.5x4.5-8x6 Slow Flyer Prop?

Over voltage can cause a motor to shut off, along with insufficient voltage, or even a prop out of the range.
