Default RE: Question Ref Spektrum fades/frames figs.

ORIGINAL: Geoff White

Hi,

I have flown my Flash on 2.4Ghz today for the first time. I had 4 flights and it worked perfectly, however when I look at the data ref the number of fades/frame losses after each flight I am slightly concerned. Here are the results.

Flight 1- A 40,B 72, L 64, R 244, F 0, H 0
Flight 2 - A 141,B 136, L 69, R 234, F 0,H 0
Flight 3 - A 255, B 253, L 555, R 801, F 46, H 0
Flight 4 - A 65, B 39, L 58, R 186, F 0, H 0

Done a bit of research on previous threads and the figures look OK, apart from flight 3 which looks a bit odd. As there are people on RCU who are far more experienced then me with using spektrum, can anyone offer any advice. Are the figures OK? Have I anything to worry about?

Also, I am sure it has been asked before but the L and R figures refer to Left and right external antenna's. How do I know which is left and right?

I also thought it might help posting a picture of the installation. Note the second remote receiver is at the rear of the plane in the fin.

Thanks.

Geoff.

Well i fly the Futaba FASST, 2.4Ghz System, so i dont get number trains that will scare me. Just smoothe, glitch free, null problemo, flying. So far so good. Sorry to use the 'F' word Dave, but it works for me. Ray.
