Possibly not what you want to hear but I would have thought both those are too big a jump, I know as I've come the same route as you and detroyed a couple of planes after my Super Cub and before settling with someohing that took me to the next level.
Personally I'd look for something like the Multiplex MiniMag to learn to fly with ailerons, get to the stage with that in 4 months approx that you've upped the throws on it and moved the CoG back and can do most aerobatics that the plane is capable of including fly it inverted at least the full length of the strip. After that you may be ready for the next one but I'd rather have some experience with highly sensitive models like Extra's / Edge's on a simulator before I moved up to one of those !!!!!!!
If you do want to do the bigger jump would possibly look at the Multiplex Gemini but think that's probably too much at the moment as well in all honesty.
