Default RE: 2nd plane. which best?

Keithn4:

The profiles seem to hold up a little better than a foamy and full balsa bodies. IF you have a computer radio, tone down the throws via dual rate and expo. a 3d-r and you have a docile airplane. My grandchild (6) trains on a rcx yak 54 foamy with good results. In the hobby, you are going to kill some airplanes at some point in time, just use reasonable judgement. You can fly almost any airplane down to a landing in higher winds, but it does take some skills to keep it powered on the ground while doing equal to 10-15 mph. If you get it wrong, plane is going to tumble down the strip and get damaged at best. When pushing the envelope, you will pay a price. ENJOY
