I say let him build it. I guarantee he'll ask you if he needs help. I asked my dad so many questions when i was building, but i built the whole thing and i'm sure he wouldn't like having to go around saying "Well i didn't build it all by myself, my dad covered it and installed the radio gear." get the point?
