RE: DL50 ignition pack
The RCEXL ignition seems to work fine on one Ly-Poly.I have been flying several engines on one Ly-Poly for several months,have never had to field charge. The engine will start cutting out at high RPM and let you no it is time to land. The ignition will not run the Li-Poly low enough to hurt your battery ,just do not forget to turn off your ignition switch I will try a single A-123 cell and see how this works. I have some RCXL circuit boards that are not potted If the A-123 does not work out I will bias the RCEXL circuit so it will be OK on the A-123 single cell.The hall sensor quits at about 3 volts.Mr.Xu says the version 2 is OK with 6 volts but someone posted they had fried two version 2 systems on 6 volts.Why run more then 4.8 volts.
