[size=3]If you are reading this thread and are planning to purchase a DL-50cc engine please be aware of the compression problem that has popped up form time to time.

I received a call from a guy that purchased his DL on eBay, mounted it on an airplane and it wouldn’t start. He said he tried everything but it just would not start. After talking to him I found out that it had no compression, we have run into this before and the problem is the final cylinder hone or lack of it. He said the person he bought it from wouldn’t do anything about it so I told him to send it to us and we would fix it for him.

My suggestion would be to buy your engine from Bob at DLUSA and if he is out of engines then buy it from us at Valley View RC. We check all of our engines before we ship them and I know that Bob does also. Saving a few bucks on eBay will sometimes cost you a lot more.
