Check out Ditch Witch in Perry, OK they build underground constuction equipment and are hiring right now. There are several other good companies around that I am sure would be happy to give someone with your skills a job. We may have tornadoes in Oklahoma but we also have low crime , low cost of living, great people, and some excellent flying sites. You can also fly all year if you can handle a little wind. I know of good flying fields all around the state. I drive a truck all over the U.S. and am always glad to get back to the heartland.
