pmw is right, the dye does take a long time in some cases. Where you are working with plexiglass it will probably take longer then if you were doing a plastic canopy.

Another thing you might be able to use is the transparent paints that the car guys use. There are quite a few kinds to check out if you can get to a shop that carries them. ENJOY !!! RED
