I'm glad that someone from the West Coast finally spoke up. Yes, we have an actor for a governor and our taxes are higher than I'd like, but Northern California is a great place to live. In the San Joaquin Valley you have enough industry to find jobs, and by driving an hour you can be at the ocean or snow skiing. We have mild winters, long Springs and Falls, and summer, while hot, is not humid. As for accepting people from other countries, we are probably one of the largest melting pots in the USA. We have a variety of RC activities and flying fields. I don't see how anyone would not want to live here.
