You said you noticed a wobble on the outer shaft.
While going through Soloboss' vibration identification process I observed a wobble in my outer shaft. At first I assumed that the shaft was bent. For some reason - I don't remember why - I removed the stock plastic bearing cup from the top of the outer shaft and spun the left motor up again... NO VIBRATION AT ALL. I put the bearing cup back on and spun the motor up again... Vibration. Took the bearing cup off again... NO VIBRATION AT ALL.
So I replaced the stock plastic bearing cup with the E-Flight aluminum CNC cup. This solved the vibration problem on my outer shaft and SIGNIFICANTLY improved the overall performance of my CX2.
(Interesting side note: I was talking to the owner of one of my LHS' a day after I had replaced my bearing cup. In one of the weirdest coincidences that I've ever experienced he asked me if I'd replaced my stock bearing cup with the CNC version yet. I said something to him like "this is one of the weirdest coincidences that I've ever experienced!"

and then I told him I'd JUST replaced it. He told me that he ID'd the vibration in the bearing cup as a manufacturing defect quite a while back and that the majority of CX's/CX2's are affected by it. He went on to say that he is the person responsible for bringing to E-Flite's attention and for prompting E-flight to develop/manufacture the CNC upgrade.)
Anyway...
