Hi Guys,
I understand the curve concepts and setup, but here's what I'm facing. Seems like no matter what I do with my curves, I get to this point; lift off and sets in ground effect, up one notch on the throtle, gets me 2-3' off the deck, up one more notch and then it's a steady climb and keeps going unless I back off. Ive tried more RPM, less RPM, more pitch, less pitch, but the results stay pretty much the same. Is this indicitive of the 3 pt curve? Anyone else suffered through this and what did you do? Hard to concentrate on coordinated turns, nose in hovering etc while I can't maintain a steady altitude without constant throtle adjustments. [

ALL of your controls need to be constantly adjusted ... not just the collective. That's the nature of helis. Helis don't fly ... they are flown. You have to move the sticks ...
And as Harry said ... if your TX has the bumpy collective stick movement ... get rid of it either by opening the TX and mod'ing the action or get a heli TX where the action is pre-smoothed.
In flying heli's ... there is no "set it and forget it" method ... you have to constantly stir the sticks.
Welcome to the world of helis.
