I like to see the completed threads. I also like to print the threads but do not like the fact that RCU removes the pictures when someone selects a print version of a thread. So from this beginners standpoint, I like to see the completed thread somewhere that I can actually print including the pictures.

Along those lines, some pictures do not have the resolution to make a point clear. For that reason many pictures are needed so the more pictures the better. Then the text can describe a point and the pictures show the point and help clarify the point or technique.

Also as someone else pointed out, a list of the tools used to do something and then the steps or techniques those tools were used in.
