Per, here's a pic of my V tail on my recently retired Racer,,, its the plane you see me holding on the left<<<<------- The hinge gap is approx 3-4mm or 1/8"

I have the same type of deflection that you are talking about in the above posts,,, its also on my Vortex and Neme Q V tails, just not as much as you have. I really beleive that there's not enough epoxy on your hinge lines.

Brush on some more epoxy over the hinge lines,,, that will stiffen things up to a more satisfactory level
