does anyone know how to control a servo using a circuit. i want to integrate this into my A level electronics project.

at th emoment i know that of the 3 wires going into the servo, red is +ve, black is -ve and the blue is the controling wire

if i touch the control wire to 5v i can make it twitch but never any control. i believe controlling it is to do with the number of pulses going through the control wire

anyone got any ideas?>
