Here is my remote glow set up.Its from TY1 and the purple plug cap is just like the one on your car,just not push fit.You pull on the red cable and a spring loaded clip inside the "boot"opens which you put over the top of the plug.The red wire goes to the dummy plugs centre and a black wire is screwed to the outside of the dummy plug and goes to any ground you want on the engine.
Century Helicopter sells these for ~$8 here. I've used one on an Irvine 53. Worked great for about 300 flights but then the vibration wore through the brass tube in the clip. Still, 300 flights for $8 is not so bad.
