Default RE: AMA's new Park Plilot Program

ORIGINAL: STLPilot

Now, you say you have the program courtesy of Dave Mathewson, who now seems to prefer "leaking" the news rather than formal notification to the membership -- just great to look forward to for the next three years -- so there should be no speculation and fabricated structures in whatever you say. So why do you not just cover the details and forget the emotional rantings?
I just can't understand why some AMA members demand the information they want too see and they want it now. On the other hand I wonder why some people just don't take the time to contact their DVP's, or call the programs director and ask for themselves other then demanding the information on an unofficial discussion board of the AMA. I also don't understand why nobody has ever heard of teaser information to cause excitement and anticipation. This is one of the major problems of being part of an all male organization. However the only other all male org I've ever belonged too was the Boy Scouts, but I don't recall seeing this kind of frustration when I belonged to that group, I guess beacuse it was a male group, yet a younger age bracket. So I think I understand a lot more of the problem now.
Well Mr. Intelligent, For starters, the DVP, nor the AMA sets the club dues, nor do they have any say so over our flying site, so long as we operate it within the safety guidelines set forth by the AMA. Now having made that point clear to you, may I ask you one more time; HOW MUCH MONEY DO YOU (THAT IS PERSONALLY) THINK THAT THE CLUBS SHOULD CHARGE THE POTENTIAL MEMBERS WHO WILL BE IN THE PARK PILOT PROGRAM TO BE ABLE TO EITHER JOIN THE EXISTING CLUB, OR TO SHARE THE CLUB FIELD AND ITS AMENITIES? Now that should be simple enough for even you to understand. I am asking for your opinion on this. Don't try to tell me that you don't have one, because if not, that would be a historical event of monumental proportions.
