Default RE: Jet Wheels and bearings

ORIGINAL: Angus McDonald

Hi Guys, I'm in the process of making my own wheels for my jets, my first intentions are to put bearings in them. but have noticed that the majority of wheels out there just have bushings. Are bearings over kill?, any reason not to put them in?

Thanks

Angus

Bearings will get killed
the "balls"are most of the time so small ,that on landing the impact of the force would cause the balls to damage the cage.
and after some time would get stuck.
our system is based on thick brass , and is self lubricating.
however most manufaxctuers use copper piping to go over the axles and act as a "bearing"
