from what i've read, its all about the weight - there is only a certain amount of lift that you can generate, and attachments, bling, battery, etc takes away from that lift until you get to 0 and you no can get off the ground - and since the more weight you lift the more current you're going to draw (plus movement beyond hovering, draws even more), and the battery weight is not an insignificant portion of the total weight, there should be a point where the motors will max out current from the battery (which will probably make it puff and go bad) - my pod and boom cx could have probably lifted a 1300 thunderpower since that cx at the time was nothing but a camera pod, frame and a finless tail boom with a collar for a counterweight, but the full body cx2 would probably never have gotten off the ground with such a anchor-sized battery

on the other hand, has anybody seen these batteries? - do they work? - no more need for a lipo sack?
