Airtronics makes fine radio products. If this is your first radio, you will like it.

It is not a computer radio, as such, but does have some advanced functions, such as end point adjustments for the throttle, that are good to have for a basic system. It does not have model memory.

I have the RD6000 and the RD8000, both computer radios and really like them both, although they have more advanced features.
