You just cannot fault any of the new 2.4 Gig systems. They are all fine systems and work great. There is an awful lot of brand loyalty in this hobby.. some even won't talk to a person that does not own a Futaba. However, I feel that a person should get what fits the need, not based on loyalty, but, again, on what you need.

Minnflyer hits it right on the nose. That's a fine system. I just happen to have the Spektrum DX7 because they were the first out with that technology. If it were Futaba, I'd own one, and the same goes for JR, Airtronics, Hitec, or any of the others around. I even had a Polk for a while, but I didn't like it that much.

Do what you must, but really consider the alternatives and what's available. I happen to like the 20 model memory of the DX7 and have so far, converted most of my RC aircraft over to it from the Airtronics systems.
