No prob! The only reason I'm using them for ignition is because I have an extra output lead on the single 2S Rx pack (5.6 oz) that I route to the ignition switch. Since I'm using Spektrum AR 9000's and AR 7000's Rx's, they are just dandy with this setup. No interference, and I was surprised at how little extra mah the ignition actually pulled. So I actually have shed some ounces by doing this.
Some are running a single A123 cell for the RC Excell igntiions with good results, too. That's only 2.8 oz.... and the 2300 mah capacity means it's a charge it once a month kind of thing....
Lots of options!!!!
