I did that in 1985. Thanks for being concerned. I went on to be a warranty director for a large Motorsport manufacturer in the US for the last 10 years of my career. I always love it when people react the way you have when they have no idea of someone’s background. I have sat through product liability cases. I have sat through class action suits, I am not a lawyer but I have been through the procedure a few times. Since this has no productive end I will let you believe what you want to believe.
