RE: Master Torque 42cc
Got an airframe for it the other day, a Skyshark Christen Eagle. I think it will be a good match. Milton, I remember your name from the purchase of the engine, what size prop have you used on this engine. I have a Zenoah G38 with an top flite 18x10 on a goldberg extra 330 and it is awsome. This 27%, 40cc class of planes is just great, they fit in just about any type of vehicle, give the presence and stability of large scale planes at reasonable costs. Can't beat it.
The G38 was having problems starting, prime it, flip the prop, get a pop like its trying to fire but it wouldn't run. Sent it to Horizon Hobbies to have it repaired, they received it the day after Thanksgiving. I added a note to the box explaining that I would like an estimate on the cost to repair the engine with phone and email to reply to. Needless to say, one of the parts that they were waiting for as explained to me would not come in until Febuary. They never called or emailed, I had to call them every week just to find out the status of the engine. Talked to the supervisor yesterday and am having them to send the engine back. Anyone else had a bad experience with them before?
