Woodsy is right on the mark when he says that. Scale planes, even (flamesuit on) Cubs, lack all of the self correcting tendencies of trainers. Realistically, you are going to have a lot of $ in the P-51. Probably 600 to 800 dollars. Compare that to the price of a cheap ARF that you just stick your trainers radio and engine on. Also I read in a review that the H9 P-51 retracts were a little tender and even an experienced pilot doing the review dingled them on a landing. I would make sure you are landing very smooth before taking out the P-51.
