I found out the problem It was I had a two line system . one going to the carb and one plugged with a plug. What was happening was the engine would build pressure in the tank and quit and run rich !! When I would take the plug out or the fule line off the carb fuel would spit all over . So I un plugged the line and have run 3 tanks fully out with no problems and the plug was perfect!!
I'm confused, you always have to have the tank vented to the atmosphere. With a two line system one is vented the other to the carb. If you plug the vent you will create a vacuum and stop fuel flow.
