I have the flaps, alierons and big center flap done. I used a couple of techniques and the one that works best for me is covering the trailing or rounded edge with a thin strip, then doing the bottom followed by an overlap with the top.

I am using MonoKote and it seems to be working ok for me so far. Maybe the white will cause duress but the red is ok.

I just couldn't figure out how to get the red tip color to stick and stretch. Getting someone else to look at your work almost always helps.

I will give it a shot tonight and see what happens. I must have at least five feet of red left on the roll, that might be enough!

I'll post a pic or two if I'm not on the water tower with a rifle! (Just kidding, honest!)
