I found a GWS motor described as GWS EPS-100C (2S) it's a geared 280 motor and can be found at:

I'm guessing this is what you have. It is very capable of flying a light airplane.

The most probable cause for lack of power is either a battery pack not fully charged(new packs usually take 3-4 cycles to hold a full charge) and the previously mentioned prop on backwards.
