RE: Comanche thread
I WANT ONE, Sorry about the crash but get ready, they can happen often mostly if your a new pilot.
I started out with the Blade CX2, I have crashed & Glued, Replaced Blades, Motors, Inner/Outer shafts like crazy.
I was use to rc cars and not the flying stuff and learned that replacing parts when learning is part of flying Helis.
Ain't you glad you started out with this instead of, unlike some others W/ a BeltCP and crashing it within 5 seconds of takeoff (thats $).
From the looks of it that was a hard hit, if the center shaft and fly bar are bent or trashed get a new one. After putting it and the blades on bring the power up Sloooowly because if it's not right it will flip and break blades right off (I've done it). Now when you get it spinning up correctly and if theirs a vibration when flying it could be a bent outer shaft, (done that too). Learn slowly take short hovers and hops then toe in flying don't push it because it will save money and your nerves. O! always check the screws & linkages to make sure their tight before flying.
If I get one I will defiantly put Nav lights on it like I did the Blade, theirs nothing like taking it out at night when the winds down and buzzing around the yard as free as a bird, Happy flying JimbyJoe DownUnder.
