Sound like it wasnt constructed correctly. I hardly ever fly mine outside but i have and i have had some pretty fast down lines and pulled hard no wing breakage. I hate to ever use epoxy on anything on the electrics, but i did opt to use a tiny little bit on the carbonfiber wingstruts where they come together in the middle of each wing half. as far as extra tape and carbonfiber on this one, i dont think they went crazy with it like they did the extra 260. i did leave out some carbonfiber and replaced it with flying wires but thats it.
