The training gear that is made for the 600 Trex is 20 inches on each of the four legs. It is 40 inches over all.
Zip ties work well. The rubberbands work but are not as strong. I have used both. I like the zip ties better.
Generally if the heli is trimed without training gear it will still be in trim with it installled.
