Default RE: Blade CX2 forward flight issues

If you want more power you can tape or velcro a 3 cell 11 volt battery to the undercarrage between the landing gear. It will not fry the reciever as there is a regulator to protect it. The motors will last quit a while before they fry. The only problem I have had is the plastic gears will strip out over time if you hit the throttle hard. You can get new motors for $10.00 each. I bought some but have not needed to change them yet. I you fly your heli a lot you will notice that the plastic gears last longer than the brass gear on the motors. When I noticed the brass gear was getting worn I started t use the 11 volt battery more knowing the I will ghange them soon anyway.
