Default Known Moki 135 Problems

Less than 2 years ago I had bought one and found that it would die while in flight usually during the first 5 minutes and usually when I pulled vertical.

On my engine, I think there was a problem with the carb machining where the orifice on the Low Speed Disk and the cat-eye groove on the Drawbar Lock (??) were not really in alignment around mid-range.

Well, I tried everything then and have gotten some modified instructions from the USA Distributor of the engine. So far, I have not succeeded in getting a satisfactory engine run and the engine has been sitting in a box for about 4 months.

This last week I decided to order a Draw Bar Lock part, but the wait may be a while due to it being out of order. If that doesn't work, then I will have to sell something to get an new $82 carb.

The engine is definitely a powerful engine with an APC 16X8 or 16X10 prop on 5% PowerMaster and the OS F 4-stroke.

I am not giving up on it and I suppose that the recently manufactured engines are pretty good now. This because I don't see any posts with users complaining about the Moki 135.
