Well after the excitement has gone(almost) I have to correct myself on one thing. The tail wheel would be very easily made ready for a retract. The control rod is already run and the door would need to be modified(cut in two), but the door is already framed and there, it's just one piece. There is also a ply former to build from. The rest of the plane looks very nice, can't wait to start working on it.
