You're talking about the ailevator function built in to the 8UAF & 9C, it lets the elevator halves move in unison with each aileron, Ive used it for more axial rolls but never tried it for 3-D. It sounds like a good idea, specially if aileron control is lacking in 3-D flight. Give it a try & let us know.
