According to BossHossV8 he had everyone at his club fly his the entire day, everyday he was there without a break. They flew it hard and heavy and after about 25-30 gallons of gas it blew out the bottom end. Now I'm not sure if that means it tore up the bearings, the crank, or the rod but that's what he told me. That tells me it's a really good engine. I seriously doubt any other 50 would do any better under those conditions. It also tells me I'm never going to wear mine out. LOL
Wow! 25 gallons is a lot of flying. I think mine will last me for life. (Then my kids can sell it on eBay).
On average, I run about .75 oz/min....25 x 128 = 3200 oz.... (3200/.75)/60 = 71 HOURS of runtime.
So, this year, I didn't get out too much, but put about 6 hours on my highest-used DL.
Damn, only have 11 years left........

WOW .75 oz/min. Have not done that math yet. My YS 140L sips a whopping 2 oz a min. No wonder I can fly so long on a 24 oz tank. I new the YS drank much more than the gasser, but I did not realize it was so disproportionate.
0.75 Oz a Minute!! [X(] I am getting 11 minutes max out of a 20 Oz tank.....! but the motor is only one gallon old...should i be worried?
I have motor 2 on its way, so i guess i'll see if its the same..
PS: Thanks Bob @DLUSA again! for excellent service....its real piece of mind dealing with you!
