RE: original hpi mt
I have a MT 1 ¾ which started life as an original MT. If it where a MT 2 SS or something like that I would recommend it but the original MT does not handle as well as the MT 2. It would be costly to up date it to a MT 2 as other then the chassis upper deck and radio box that is what I did to my MT. Now if you just want to do it for fun try it.
