Aileron Servos For .40 Size Plane
If you get a mini servo with around 30 oz-in of torque you should be fine. I've been using Futaba 3002's. They're fairly expensive BB metal gear servos. They've developed a lot of slop in them in 2-3 seasons of flying and I've been told that's normal for metal gears. I won't buy them again, but they have a lot of torque. They aren't the fastest servo.
I've heard good things about Hitec servos but I don't own any yet. I do plan to buy a dozen or so Hitec mini servos when I have the opportunity. I could use them already. I have several of their receivers and I'm very pleased with them.
