Default RE: DL-50 engine

Super 08
I run 1/8 in tygon fuel line, I use a filtered clunk ( can purchase at auto parts or lawn mower repair shop). This is the fuel line to engine and I install a t-fitting and use a fuel dot to fill. The vent line I route around the top of the tank, making a loop toward the rear of tank, then back forward, the vent should exit the bottom of the airframe. No pressure is needed on the gas engines. The reason for the loop in the vent is to prevent tank drainage when the aircraft is on a downline. You will find several good methods for routing your choke arm in the threads, I prefer the manual choke, accessible through the front of the crowl. The kill switch is a great safety feature. Gassers require loctiteon the bolts and screws, as you have read in the post. Good luck and keep us updated. Ed
