I found this rule to be accurate in RC. You get what you pay for. I own Magnum, GMS, Tower and OS engines. I mainly have OS because they run right out of the box. GMS and Tower run great after you figure them out, may be diffrent issue on each. Magnum runs strong but has a transition issues. It is worth it to me just to spend a few more bucks and have what you really want-it's like paying for insurance. Just my two cents
