I was just thinking about that. The idea was to set up a Wiki site where people could join, log in and add/edit entries as well as upload files.
It would be like Wikipedia, except each entry would represent a classic pattern design. There could be historical text, setup info, photos, bits about the designer, etc., and, of course, the plans.
The nice thing about the Wiki format is that multiple people can contribute data and photos to any entry. It can continually grow as opposed to a static web site that one person has to maintain and update.
So, if you search for Dirty Birdy, for example, a page will come up with everything you'd want to know about this particular design, plus links to other designs by Bridi, etc.
It would, in effect, be an online Classic Pattern Encyclopedia with photos, videos and plans files. I think it's a great idea.
