I came across these in a box of stuff someone sent me and I LOVE them.

Its aluminum canopy mounts. The plastic ones were seriously getting on my nerves. The grommets slip right over these and stay put, they dont bend or break and all for 6 bucks.
i updated to cnc canopy mounting too , much stronger, never bent
