Can somebody please help me. I recently purchased a Hyper 7 PBS and am having problems with the set up. All the power goes to the front wheels and hardly any to the back. I understand that i need to change the diff oils but haven't got a clue how to get to them. Is it an easy job or a mission? What weight oil or grease should i use? What do i need to dismantle?
Any advice would be gratefully received.
Many thanksa
"All the power" what do you mean by that? the rear wheels don't spin at all or the front gets most of the power, may have some rear drag brake on. also dissasemble the center diff, may have chewed up a conical gear. also check the rear dogbone, still there, also the two rear axle dogbones, still there. last check the rear bevel gear and crown and set screw for dogbone carrier.
yep ACE makes awesome servos.
the 1313 is awesome on a truggy, on buggy it is more than enough, and they work underwater (don't recommend it though). my 1313 has lasted 3 cars so far and about 6 gallons or more, hyper 7, hyper 8.5 and now hyper st. i'm getting a 1015 just for some overkill on the st though, i love those ace servos. metal gears, heat sink, water proof, fast, strong, low power draw, what more could you ask for for under $100?
