My father sometimes brings his two shelties when he comes out to the field. He always keeps them either in the car with the windows open for ventilation or leashed to the pit benches when he's not walking them around. The funny thing about it is, they bark like mad when he flies any of his planes, especially electrics, but they don't bark at anyone else's planes.[sm=confused.gif] There are a couple of guys in the club who do the same, and it hasn't caused any problems. The real problems arise when the general public wanders into our field (it's visible from the road and adjacent to park land) with their unleashed mutt running wild on the runway chasing planes or helis, thinking its funny.

It's always fun to have to scream at those idiots, and they never have ANY clue why letting their hapless cur chase after a flying meat cleaver is a bad idea...
